Are you tired of missing important information during team meetings? Microsoft Teams has introduced some new features to make your meetings more inclusive. With live captions, speaker attribution, and transcripts, you can now follow along with everything that is being said.
During your meeting, simply turn on live captions by selecting the three-dot menu and choosing “turn on live captions.” As people speak, their names and picture will appear next to their captions, making it easy to follow along. Speaker attribution will also highlight the video of the person who is currently speaking, so you know who is talking at all times.
But that’s not all. You can also start recording the meeting by selecting “start recording” and start transcription by choosing “start transcription” from the three-dot menu. The transcript will appear on the right-hand side and caption everything that is being said in real-time.
Once the meeting is over, you can stop the recording and transcription, and Microsoft Teams will automatically save the transcript. You can then download the transcript as a vtt file or a Word document, or delete it altogether. If you want to keep the identity of the speakers private, you can remove identification or edit the speaker’s name.
With these new features, you can stay informed during meetings and never miss important information again. Give it a try and let us know how it works for you! And don’t forget to subscribe to our channel to stay up to date with all the latest quick tip videos.
